Hi! Welcome to my blog!

I'm starting up this baby a little early so hopefully it'll be looking cute before my internship starts on May 20. I'm so pumped to be heading over to NY for this amazing opportunity. I've never lived outside of Michigan, so this will be a brand new adventure for me! I'm hoping the average temperatures for Chazy are accurate, because I would love a summer with high temps of 80 degrees. :) I'm excited to branch out into the world and see how a combination dairy farm/research facility is run! I have a feeling this summer will be eye-opening.

Right now, the not-so-fun stuff like unpacking, reorganizing, and re-packing is going on. I'm using this blog as a break from all that for the moment. I moved out of my apartment in East Lansing on Sunday, but all of my stuff is still in my car and it's Tuesday! I dread the unpacking more than the packing, so I'm kind of putting it off until I can't stand not knowing where anything is anymore. Hopefully this afternoon some tidying will be done!

I'm looking forward to learning the research process from the very beginning, and to finally get to work with the dairy cows I've spent four years learning about in class. Here's to the future! Adventure is out there!
